Everything made to order
Two burners, about five minutes a crêpe. On a rush it runs thirty or forty. Somebody will warn you.
What the counter recommends when you can't decide. Cold, faintly tropical, gone in four minutes.
Floral without tipping into soap. A narrow line, walked well.
Peak-season berries and sweet cream. Leaves when the berries do.
Nutella, topped with your choice of bananas or strawberries.
Chocolate chips, marshmallows, and crushed graham crackers.
Chocolate chips, Reese's peanut butter chips, and sliced bananas.
The plain one, done right. Add strawberries and it stops being plain.
An egg, spinach, and the shredded cheese of your choosing.
Thinly sliced ham with shredded cheese of your choice.
Chicken and pesto. The most substantial thing she will hand you.
Maple and cinnamon. People insist it tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. She has stopped arguing. Becomes the Merry Maple in December.
The regulars' order. Smooth, strong, unbothered.
Spiced, hot or iced.
With vanilla or hazelnut, if you want it. Fine without.
Chocolate and espresso, no apologies.
Skip the line
She would rather you didn't stand there. Call it in and pick it up.
